KINDNESS TO THE ENVIRONMENT COMPETITION 2023

Participate in the Earth Day Writing & Poster Competition!

Be a part of the Earth Day celebration by entering our writing and poster competition which is open to every student in Nigeria and Ghana aged 16 years and under.

What is Earth Day?

The first Earth Day started in 1970. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 as International Mother Earth Day.

In 2020, Earth Day marked 50 years with global activities that aim to mobilize a billion people worldwide to participate in environmental actions that are transformative for our planet. Earth Day brings environmental awareness with global activities to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation.

Why Earth Day Competition?

The theme for Earth Day 2023 is "Invest in Our Planet." We know that there are brilliant young minds who have great ideas or innovative solutions to the challenges we face with our planet. Such creative and innovative minds need to be given the platform to share their ideas.

We look forward to seeing your creative solutions. We would like to read your creative writings or posters that best explain what threatens Earth's existence and propose sustainable solutions and ways to address the climate crisis.
